The sale of subscriptions and tickets for the 2019/2020 season starts on 29. May 2019.

Janáček point 

Our sales point – Janáček point – is located on the right of the Ostrava House of Culture’s entrance hall, where we respond to your wishes, requests, suggestions, ideas, comments, and complaints.

Here you can buy subscriptions, single tickets, promotional items (e.g. popular T-shirts), selected publications, magazines and CDs with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava’s recordings. We are more than happy to assist you with a concert selection that will suit you. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us.

In order to meet your needs to the maximum extent at the time when the subscription sales start and to be able to sell the tickets for the current concerts at the same time, we have extended the opening hours.


Regular opening hours:

Monday       1pm – 7pm
Tuesday      1pm – 7pm
Wednesday 9am – 7pm
Thursday     9am – 7pm
Friday         1pm – 7pm

Holiday period opening hours:
Monday       1pm – 7pm
Tuesday      closed
Wednesday 9am – 12am    1pm – 7pm
Thursday     9am – 12am    1pm – 7pm
Friday closed

Christmas holidays opening hours:  

24. – 27. December 2019 and 31 December 2019 and 1 January 2020 closed

The tickets can also be purchased 60 minutes before every concert taking place at the City of Ostrava Cultural Centre.

The ticket sale of the 66th concert season will start on April 29, 2019. Seats of the current subscribers (combined subscription excluded) are reserved until June 30, 2019 (they will be offered for sale after this date). Subscriptions are available for purchase at both Janáček point and online. Subscriptions purchased online exclude seats reserved by the current subscribers.

You can order a subscription via this programme’s catalog or on our website www.jfo.cz/en in the tickets – subscription section.

We ask you to fill out your name, residence, phone number (and an e-mail address to inform you about current events, upcoming concerts and potential changes via our newsletter) and the method of payment.

Besides Janacek point, you can also purchase tickets at all offices of the Ostrava City Information Centre, at the box office of the City of Ostrava Cultural Centre, in the travel agency Poslední šance (in Ostrava-Poruba), at the Havířov City Information Centre, at the Orlová City Information Centre, at the branches of the Beskydy Information Centre in Frýdek-Místek and Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, at the Kopřivnice Information centre, or at the Tourist information centre Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.

You can purchase the tickets online as well.

Online ticket 

Tickets for individual concerts can be purchased or reserved online on our website jfo.cz/en. The reservation is valid for 4 days. ISIC or ITIC card holders may apply a discount of 80% off their purchase.

Notice:

Purchased subscription cannot be returned during the season!

Gift Certificates

Give your loved ones the experience of the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava’s concerts as a gift. The certificate is in the value of 500 CZK or 1000 CZK. It may be used to purchase tickets online as well. See our website for more information.

Public dress rehearsals are charged. Those who are interested to see them may purchase the tickets for 50 CZK at both Janáček point and online. Check our website to see which dress rehearsals are available.

Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava reserves the right to change the cast, the programme, and the concert date.

Please note:

The purchased e-tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. We offer no substitutes for lost e-tickets. Always keep the e-ticket in a safe place to avoid misuse. Counterfeiting of e-tickets is illegal, and offenders will be prosecuted. Any later modifications make the e-ticket invalid. Important note: The Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava is not responsible for any problems caused by unauthorized use or copying of e-tickets. Admission to the concert will be granted only on the basis of an e-ticket submitted for review for the first time. Any subsequent submission of the same e-ticket or its copy will not be accepted and the admission will not be granted on the basis of such a ticket, regardless of the person submitting it. The holder of the e-ticket is obliged to follow the rules specified by the organiser. The organisers reserve the right to change the program and the performers. Thank you for your understanding.
