Lenka Dusilová is a renowned personality of Czech popular music, who has moved from the position of a rock and pop star to a multi-layered personal expression in which she freely accepts impulses of various styles and extra-musical experiences. In her projects and solo albums, she uses her unmistakable vocal expression and tries to find new ways and ways of expression. In collaboration with multi-genre singer Gabriela Vermelho, leading Czech flautist Jan Kvapil, the Permoník Concert Choir and JFO, he will perform pieces from the famous 1994 album Adiemus – Songs of Sanctuary by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins. The fusion of classical music with Celtic music and African world music promises a captivating and unique experience.

Jenkins’ work will be preceded by Song of the Universal for choir, piano and strings by contemporary Norwegian composer Oly Gjeil. The composer’s powerful setting of American poet Walt Whitman’s text expresses optimism and an unshakable trust in our deep humanity.
