His 1982 album Thriller, with more than 110 million copies sold, continues to be the best-selling album of all time and symbolizes the era in which Jackson shaped the face of modern pop music.

Throughout his career, Michael Jackson created dozens of hits that topped international charts and became part of global cultural memory—from Billie Jean and Beat It to Bad, Smooth Criminal, Black or White, and the emotionally powerful songs Earth Song, You Are Not Alone, and Heal the World. It is from this extraordinary repertoire that the project Michael Jackson Symphony, prepared by conductor and arranger Martin Kumžák, draws its inspiration.

Original symphonic arrangements of Jackson’s songs will be performed by four outstanding vocalists—Dasha, Naďa Wepperová, Dušan Kollár, and Dušan Marek—accompanied by the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and the Moondance Orchestra, one of the Czech Republic’s leading dance orchestras. The result is a concert project that combines the energy of pop music with the richness and scope of the symphonic sound, offering a new perspective on the work of one of the greatest musical icons of all time.
