Benda Quartet

Benda Quartet was founded in 2012 and from the beginning it was clear that the music scene enters with great potential. Devotion to music, honesty in preparation, enthusiasm, and genuineness from his concerts directly apparent. It is, therefore no surprise that in the spring of 2018 he also performed at chamber concerts of the Czech Philharmonic.
Benda Quartet will perform at the first concert of the K series together with Vilém Veverka.
Vilém Veverka is one of the most respected Czech interpreters of classical music and one of the top European players in oboe. Vilém Veverka’s approach to music and life, to other professions – hobbies – and, last but not least, his visage denies established ideas about the artist of so-called classical music. “Oboe is the subject through which I can express myself. And as far as the ability to express emotions is concerned, the oboe is definitely the number one instrument, ”says the best Czech oboe player.
